Hugo Veiga is an Industrial Digitalization Coordinator at Primetals Technologies, working largely from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Together with an international team, Hugo develops and implements new digital solutions geared toward making maintenance-related tasks in steel production more efficient and transparent. Recently, Hugo has become more of a digital strategist, thinking about how to best put humans at the center of his digitalization efforts, because maintenance processes start and end with workers making optimal use of the new technologies.
