普锐特冶金技术从成都长峰钢铁有限公司(成都长峰)获得合同，将为其四川省都江堰钢厂提供一座 Quantum 电弧炉和一座钢包炉。这是中国第九座 Quantum 电弧炉。Quantum 电弧炉的设计能够使用各种 不同成分和质量的废钢。由于废钢得到预热，电弧炉的电耗水平显著降低。这也降低了运行成本和 CO2排 放。双工位钢包炉为生产出期望的钢种和达到正确的连铸温度提供了保障。这些新炉计划于 2020 年初投 入试运行。
成都长峰是一家总部位于四川省成都市的中型国有企业。公司下设三个钢铁分公司，一个制氧公司，一个 机械制造加工公司对新的 Quantum 电弧炉和双工位钢包炉，普锐特冶金技术将提供全套机械和电气工艺 设备及自动化技术，包括自动废钢料场管理、自动装料工艺、自动吹氧和填沙操作以及二级自动化，使其 充分体现工业 4.0 理念。
普锐特冶金技术开发的 Quantum 电炉结合了成熟的竖炉电弧炉技术、创新性的废钢装料方案、高效预热 系统、新型下炉壳倾动设计和优化出钢系统，大幅度缩短了出钢周期，电能消耗显著低于传统电弧炉的水 平。再加上电极消耗和氧耗的降低，使得生产成本合计能够降低 20%左右。另外，吨钢 CO2排放量也能 比传统电弧炉减少 30%之多。具有现代自动废气控制的综合除尘系统，满足了各种环境要求。
