5 月，PJSC“Ilyich 钢铁公司 Mariupol 厂”(Ilyich 钢铁公司)签发了 1,700 mm 热带钢轧机(HSM 1700)改 造项目的最终验收证书。HSM 1700 的改造使 MMKI 优化了产品结构，增加了产品种类，改善了质量，提 高了效率，降低了生产成本，从而进一步增强了竞争力。年产能力将从 136 万吨提高到 250 万吨。先进的 自动化系统使轧机为实施工业 4.0 作好了准备。
普锐特冶金技术承担了热带钢轧机改造的基本和详细设计及关键部件的供货，包括新建一套带重型立辊的 可逆式粗轧机、新装一台卷取箱和升级精轧机。供货范围还包括卷取箱和精轧区除鳞机夹送辊的新电机和 传动，以及粗轧机和精轧机的 1 级和 2 级自动化系统。普锐特冶金技术还提供了轧机设备的安装和调试指 导。该项目是 Metinvest 和普锐特冶金技术继成功执行 4 号连铸机项目后，双方之间长期合作的又一座重 要里程碑。
改造后的 HSM 1700 能够轧制由普锐特冶金技术在 2018 年新建的 4 号连铸机提供的更大规格的板坯(厚 170 – 250 毫米)，生产出宽度在 900 – 1,600 毫米、厚度在 1.2 – 8.0 毫米之间的热带钢。最大卷重从 15 吨增加到 27 吨。
