普锐特冶金技术从中国钢铁企业梧州市永达特钢有限公司(梧州永达)获得合同，为其广西壮族自治区梧州 市的一个新建项目提供一座 Quantum 电弧炉和一座钢包炉。这是中国的第十座 Quantum 电弧炉。 Quantum 电弧炉的设计能够使用各种不同成分和质量的废钢。由于废钢得到预热，电弧炉的电耗水平显著 降低。这也降低了运行成本和 CO2排放。双工位钢包炉为生产出期望的钢种和达到正确的连铸温度提供了 保障。这些新炉计划于 2020 年早些时候投入试运行。
梧州永达是中国南方广西壮族自治区的一家民营企业，主要生产钢筋、盘条和线卷。Quantum 电弧炉和双 工位钢包炉是一个新建不锈钢生产项目的组成部分。对新的 Quantum 电弧炉和双工位钢包炉，普锐特冶 金技术将提供全套机械和电气工艺设备及自动化技术，包括自动废钢料场管理、自动装料工艺、自动吹氧 和填沙操作以及二级自动化，使其充分体现工业 4.0 理念。合同内容中还包括了除尘设备的基本数据。
普锐特冶金技术开发的 Quantum 结合了成熟的竖炉电弧炉技术、创新性的废钢装料方案、高效预热系统、 新型下炉壳倾动设计和优化出钢系统，大幅度缩短了冶炼周期，电力需求显著低于传统电弧炉的水平。再 加上电极消耗和氧耗的降低，使得生产成本合计能够降低 20%左右。另外，吨钢 CO2排放量也能比传统 电弧炉减少 30%之多。配备了先进的自动废气控制系统的集成除尘系统能够确保满足所有环保要求。
