2018 年 12 月，普锐特冶金技术为台湾钢铁企业中钢公司(CSC)升级改造的 S6 号板坯连铸机在公司高雄 厂投入运行。该项目通过改造结晶器和安装成熟的技术方案包而淘汰了陈旧的或多余的设备，目标是提高 灵活性，改善产品质量，显著减少漏钢。升级时还考虑了将来进一步提升的可能性。新技术方案包从一开 始就投入了自动运行模式。
普锐特冶金技术为该铸机配备了 3 种新技术方案包，即：DynaWidth 结晶器液压调宽，能够在浇铸过程中 或浇次之间精确地改变板坯宽度；Mold Expert 漏钢预报和结晶器监测系统，能够最大限度降低漏钢的风 险；DynaFlex 结晶器液压振动，一种新型框架式振动装置，能够在浇铸过程中完全灵活地控制振动操作， 确保铸坯达到最佳表面质量。普锐特冶金技术承担了设计和供货，还在安装和调试期间提供了指导服务。 新的结晶器部件和新型框架式 DynaFlex 振动装置由 CSC 旗下的中钢机械股份有限公司(CSMC)在台湾制 造。
S6 号双流板坯连铸机建成于 1996 年，配备了直型双结晶器。铸机半径约为 9 米，冶金长度约为 44.7 米， 生产的板坯厚度为 250 毫米，宽度为 750 – 1,880 毫米。浇铸的钢种包括低碳、超低碳、中碳和高碳钢以 及包晶钢、微合金钢和高硅钢。
中钢公司(CSC)是台湾领先的钢铁企业，年产能力约为 1,000 万吨，其中的三分之二左右供给台湾本地市 场，其余部分出口。CSC 高雄厂建有两个转炉炼钢车间，总共拥有七台双流板坯连铸机和三台 4 流大方坯 连铸机。板坯连铸机主要生产碳钢和低合金钢。
