在 10 月末，中国钢铁企业北海诚德不锈钢公司(北海诚德)HRAPL#5 线上的新建 3 机架 Power X-HI 轧机 完全达到了厚度减薄目标，304 钢种白卷的压下率超过了 60 %，200 系列黑卷则超过了 55 %。随后，北 海诚德向普锐特冶金技术签发了这套串列式冷轧机的初步验收证书——此时轧机投产只有 6 个月。这套 3 机架串列式冷轧机(TCM)安装在公司的广西北海工厂，额定产能为每年 600,000 吨冷轧带钢，用于加工 300 和 200 系列白皮卷和黑皮卷。这是 Power X-HI 轧机首次应用于不锈钢黑皮卷的直接轧制。新轧机能 够加大厚度减薄，减轻了热轧机的产能压力。轧机自 2019 年年中以来一直保持运行。
公司正在使用这套新建冷轧机生产宽带。这套连轧机以热轧不锈钢黑皮卷为原料，能够将 2.0 – 8.0 毫米的 入口厚度轧制到 0.8 – 5.5 毫米的出口厚度。带钢宽度在 1,000 – 1,550 毫米之间。普锐特冶金技术承担了 全部的设计、关键部件的制造、全面的技术协调以及安装和调试的指导。
轧机的轧制速度为每分钟 200 米。供货范围还包括了总功率约为 10,000 千瓦的调速传动以及基础(1 级)和 过程(2 级)自动化。HMI 方案保证了操作控制和监测任务的执行，还具有分布式监控和使用方便的诊断及 报警功能。
北海诚德主要从事镍矿开采和不锈钢窄带生产。公司已经拥有一套普锐特冶金技术提供的 5 机架 Power XHI 串列式冷轧机(配备了一台厚规格激光焊机)，它在 2015 年底生产出了第一个带卷。
